Who knew finals would come this quick? Certainly, I didn't.
So yes, it's the last week of school before we go on winter break. Having said that, it's also the week of my first high school finals! I'm actually kind of excited to see how I do on these...
But anyway, so my Droid 2 is still awesome...not like it would've changed in five days. But, I did get a bright orange case for it. If a phone could look dashing, mine is drop-dead gorgeous dashing.
In other news, I just realized that we can leave school early tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday without getting in trouble. That's a first.
DDDDDRRRRROOOOOIIIIIDDDDD
Oh, looks like I have a message. I have to go answer it before I forget it's there.

Blog 13: Droid 2
Great news: I finally got a new phone!
Yeah, it's been a long time (two and a half years to be exact). My parents first got me a phone in the summer of 2008, which seems like eons ago. However, they only let me use it when they approved, such as if I was going to a friend's house or something like that. I finally got to use my "was-cool-in-2008-but-not-anymore-because-it's-2010-and-it's-also-a-flip-phone-which-isn't-cool-anymore" device starting on Christmas of last year.
12 months later, here I am writing one of my blogs from my Droid 2. Yep, it's true. Every word.
This is very efficient. I don't have to get on the computer anymore to write a blog; I can just start typing away and *WALA!* My blog for the week is done.
I highly recommend the Droid 2. Get it quick 'cuz it won't be cool anymore when the iPhone 5 or Droid 3 comes out. =)
And alas, the world goes round.

Blog 12: Thanksgiving Break
Well, another weekend gone. It seems like these things fly by so fast, you can't even enjoy them anymore.
I don't know what to do about this Thanksgiving weekend drama.

Blog 11: 2010 NASCAR Season is Over
Hello.
I just wanted to let you know that as of today, the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season is over. Yeah, I know most of you don't care, but I do.
Jimmie Johnson, driver of the #48 Lowes Chevrolet, won his fifth consecutive championship at the Homestead-Miami Speedway today. He is one of four drivers to win at least four titles, and the only person to ever win more than three in a row.
Jimmie's a great driver. Personally, my guy is Jeff Gordon. He's one of the people who have one more than four championships. But Jeff and Jimmie are teammates and Gordon had bad-luck today so I don't mind rooting for Johnson. Congratulations Team 48!
With that said, I'm sorry to announce that NASCAR season is over. (Sad face) I have no idea what I'm going to do until February when it starts again. I'll probably go through withdrawals or something crazy like that.
R.I.P. 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Can't wait for February 2011. It's gonna be great!

Blog 10: Dark at 5?!?!
Hiya, and thanks for tuning in to another new edition of "Ze Blogger Boy." Today's topic: Darkness.
To be more specific, I'm talking about Daylight-Savings time. A few weeks ago, we had to change our clocks back one hour due to......
Well, I'm not exactly sure. All I know is that Benjamin Franklin came up with the idea and it wasn't applied until World War I.
Source: National Treasure (2004 film)
Anyway, so we set our clocks back one hour. Because of that, it gets dark at five o'clock. It's nice though, 'cause in the morning, it's light out instead of pitch-black.
And another thing - People always say we gain an hour, when we are technically setting our clocks back.
Now that's what I call irony!

Blog 9: Election Day
Thanks to Election Day, Rock Canyon doesn't have school today.
It's kinda weird: Going to school for one day, and then getting the next day off, and then having to go back to school for three more days is messed up.
But still, I'll take any days off from school that I can get.
The only problem is that my friend who goes to Heritage doesn't have today off. So we can't hang out or anything. I guess Littleton Public Schools doesn't use their high schools as a place to poll like Douglas County.
In other news, I just watched "The Bounty Hunter." It was a good movie with a few laughs here and there, but nothing to fret about missing. I expected it to be better.
Well, that's all for right now. I guess we'll have to wait and see how the mid-term elections turn out. Until next time -

Blog 8: Tennis Banquet
Hiya.
In a few minutes, I'm off to the tennis banquet for the Rock Canyon Boys Tennis team. It should be fun, so I'll tell you all about it next time I blog.
Also last week, I went to go see "RED", a movie about former CIA agents who band together after they are mysteriously attacked by an unknown network. Other than the killing, there's hardly any foul language, so I highly recommend it. "The Social Network" is still better, but still...it's not like you can have every single movie rated the same.
Anyway, that's all for this week.

Blog 7: The Social Network
Greetings from Fall Break.
Yes, the week off of school in October is finally here. So far, it's been pretty good. I'm watching some dogs down the street until tomorrow, so that's kept me busy.
In other news, I have decided not to get an iPad....or at least wait until they go on sale.
Also, I saw "The Social Network" Saturday night with some friends from Rock Canyon.
It was awesome.
Even though I don't have a Facebook (but I do have a Twitter...a requirement for Journalism at RC), it was still a great movie. I loved the part where Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook) creates FaceMash, hacks into Harvard's computer system, retrieves photos of girls all over the school and uploads them while intoxicated and blogging at the same time.
I highly recommend "The Social Network" to anybody who has a Facebook, who doesn't have one or just anybody who wants a good laugh while learning about our new way of life.

Blog 6: Nonfiction Writing
Tomorrow, I give my copies of my nonfiction writing out to the class for review. I wrote about the time I was driving my Uncle's go-kart and I accidentally flipped it over. It's great to laugh about it now, but I was totally freaked out when it first happened.
Anyway, back to the present.
Well, there's actually nothing going on right now. I finished my homework...and then some. There's really nothing else to talk about. Seriously.
Life is good.
As of right now.

Blog 5: iPads
Hello.
Currently, I'm discussing (in my mind) whether or not to buy an iPad. I only have the third generation iPod, so I'm kinda looking for an upgrade.
Don't worry, I have the money to buy one. I've been saving up for a while but I still haven't decided what to buy yet. For some reason, an iPad looks really nice today.
Of course, you might say, "Well, an iTouch is better than an iPad and it's a lot cheaper and it's smaller and -"
Not another word.
It's not that I don't like suggestions, but when I get my mind stuck on a topic, I'm not letting go. My friend and I from middle school went to the Apple Store in Aspen Grove on the last day of summer (Sniff...good times) and we spent 45 minutes playing around on the iPads. We were only intending to stay five and look around.
They were so much fun.
It's like a computer, but without a keyboard. And, it's a touchscreen, which makes it cooler. Touchscreens make everything cooler.
And so, I still sit here deciding whether I want the iPad or not.

Blog 4: Creative Writing Class
Hello!
Here I am, in Creative Writing class....again. Yeah, I know it seems that I only write during class when Ms. Bloom gives the chance, but it's really the only time that I have.
Anyway, this week has gone by in a flash (ZOOOOOOOM!). I can't wait for next week, because then I have a three-day weekend.
Three-day weekends are awesome possum. They are cool because you can call them three-day weekends or four-day weeks. But I prefer to call them three-day weekends 'cuz weekends are better than weeks.
Except in the summer. Then it doesn't matter at all.
I like summer.
Not school.
Randomness.

Blog 3: School
Here I am, writing my third blog in Creative Writing class. We have gotten the chance to look at each others blogs. In an effort to catch up on my writing, I have decided to use this time to type.
Anyway, I know I haven't written in nearly a month, but sometimes life just flies by so fast, you don't have time to write. Yeah, it may sound a little weird, but it's true And, I forgot my password toward the end of August, so that was also another reason I couldn't blog.
But on the bright side, I'm back to writing....in school. And what about the rest of my day? Well, the weather is wonderful. So I say, "Was für einen wunderschönen Tag für ein Picknick!" That's German for "What a beautiful day for a picnic!"
It sounds funny. Hehe =-)

Blog 2: I Win!
Hey.
I have some great news - my tennis team and I won state today at Colorado Athletic Club on Monaco today! To some of you, it may be like, "What-ev, that's tennis, anybody can win." Well, actually, it's very difficult. Tennis takes a lot of hand-eye coordination and the right strokes along with power to make a good shot. And, to think that we're the best in our division and age group in the state of Colorado - yeah, it's pretty cool.
I also went to see Dinner for Schmucks yesterday evening with my tennis buds (we hang out a lot). It was very funny, but I recommend waiting until it comes out on DVD first to see it. Steve Carrel was hilarious. and so were a lot of other people who were in the film but failed to make it onto this list.
Anyway, it's been a fun weekend, but I must be off to finish my homework. Good day, mate!

Blog 1: Welcome
Hi.
As you can probably tell, I'm a bit new to the whole blogging thing, so I'm just getting started. In the future, my blogs will hopefully be longer and more interesting than this one... but hey, I'm still figuring this out.
Anyway, thanks for looking at Ze Blogger Boy (trust me, I'm not French) and come back soon!
